Staff is polite.
Shower is as weak as "dripping water", and it's cold at Chefchaouen after sunset. And there are fleas in the blanket which bite me at night!

The staff at the hotel were very helpful and gave extra information even if not directly asked for. They were also very polite and eager to help.
The fact that there is no lift, no ac in the rooms and no soundproof rooms.

there was no WIFI as they mentioned, the single room was tiny and stuffy.the shower was terrible barley any water coming through. the breakfast was very minimal for the Moroccan cuisine.

The location of this hotel is great, in 3 minutes you are at the ideal starting point of the city tour.
I think the photos of the hotel on the page are much better than it really is..

It was convenient to the Medina. Buffet breakfast had good variety and was plentiful.
As a middle aged backpacker I definitely needed a taxi to the Hotel Madrid as the streets are extremely steep. Not a fault of the Hotel but a characteristic of the town. I travelled during early spring. Not only was the room very cold as there was no heating, but the window didn't shut properly. The hotel was extremely noisy late at night... At around 11.30 each evening furniture was dragged around on the ground floor in preparation for the buffet breakfast and it was very disturbing even on the third floor. Staff vacuuming outside my door at midnight. Constant stream of noisy guests returning to rooms between midnight and 2am. Definitely the worst of all the budget hotels I have stayed in during 7 weeks of travel.

This hotel is located in the center of this beautiful mountain town of Chefchaouen, Morocco. For a 2 Stars hotel it is worth the price paid.
The noisy/busy street where this small hotel is situated.
